The DMS camera not only monitors the driver's state (such as fatigue or distracted driving) but also partially monitors the front-seat passengers, for example, by checking whether they have fastened their seatbelts or are exhibiting any unusual behavior.

2.Passenger Safety Monitoring

To comprehensively cover the passenger space, a small camera is usually installed in the rear passenger area to monitor the safety of backseat passengers. This design effectively enhances in-vehicle safety and provides evidentiary support in case of emergencies.

When designing and implementing these monitoring systems, it is imperative to strictly adhere to the laws and regulations of various countries regarding privacy protection and data security management, ensuring that the application of technology does not infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of passengers and drivers.
